Mojang is hosting an exciting event called Minecraft Live on Sunday, October 15th. This livestream celebration of Minecraft has lots of interesting things in store for players like news, sneak peeks, and even a chance to vote for a new creature in the game.

The event starts at 6pm in the UK and 1pm EDT. It will last for about an hour and cover updates about Minecraft itself, as well as the new Minecraft Legends spin-off game.

One of the highlights of Minecraft Live is the community mob vote. In Minecraft, mobs are basically enemies or creatures that you encounter while playing. This year, Mojang will present three new mobs to choose from. They will reveal these options at the beginning of October. You can participate in the vote through different platforms like the Minecraft Launcher, Minecraft.net, or the special event server on Minecraft: Bedrock Edition.

The voting period begins 48 hours before the live show on Friday, October 13th at 6pm UK time and 1pm EDT. It ends on October 15th at 6:15pm UK time and 1:15pm EDT. The winner of the mob vote will be announced during the livestream.

In previous years, various mobs have been added to Minecraft based on votes from players. Some examples include Allay, Glow Squid, Panda, Phantom, Llama, and Sniffer.

So mark your calendars! Don’t miss out on all the fun at Minecraft Live on October 15th. You can watch it on YouTube and join in by voting for your favorite new mob for Minecraft!
