Wario, the mischievous anti-hero, is back with a new game called WarioWare Move It! for the Nintendo Switch. This is Wario’s second appearance on the console, following the release of Get It Together! in September 2021. While it may look similar to its predecessor, there are some changes that make it unique.
In WarioWare Move It!, you’ll embark on an adventure to a tropical resort with familiar characters. Each time you complete a stage, you’ll travel to a new location. But what sets this game apart is how it utilizes the Nintendo Switch’s Joy-Cons.
You’ll need to use the Joy-Cons in different ways, mimicking various actions. For example, you might pose as a bird and peck at worms or swing your arm around to throw lassos. The game is all about movement and getting into different “Forms” using the controllers. The goal is to beat each level before a bomb explodes.
Just like previous WarioWare games, there are over 200 mini-games that are fast-paced and wacky. You’ll have to think quickly and react even faster to complete them all. If you want some friendly competition, Party Mode allows up to four players to battle it out. This mode features multiplayer-specific mini-games that test your speed and determine who’s the fastest mover in the west.
