Nintendo and developer Cing are bringing back the beloved Another Code series in a special bundle for the Nintendo Switch. The new version, called Another Code Recollection, includes two games that will be released in January of next year.
The first game in the bundle is a shiny, updated remake of Another Code: Two Memories (known as Trace Memory in the US). This game originally came out on the Nintendo DS in 2005. In this game, players step into the shoes of Ashley Mizuki Robbins, a 13-year-old girl who is searching for her father on an island called Blood Edward Island. Luckily, Ashley has a ghostly friend named D to help her along the way.
Another Code: Two Memories is an exciting adventure game where you get to solve puzzles and explore new places. It’s like going on a treasure hunt! On the Nintendo DS, there was even a puzzle that broke through the walls of reality and really challenged your brain. Unfortunately, this mind-boggling puzzle won’t be available in the Switch version.
The second game included in Another Code Recollection is Another Code: R – A Journey into Lost Memories. This sequel came out on the Wii in 2009 and it’s absolutely stunning. The graphics are beautiful and it tells an amazing story. In this game, players continue their adventure with Ashley as she delves deeper into her own memories.
Both games in Another Code Recollection have been enhanced specifically for the Nintendo Switch. This means they will look even better and play smoother than before.
Mark your calendars because Another Code Recollection will be released on January 19th next year. It’s going to be so much fun to relive these classic adventures on your Switch! Now we just need to convince Nintendo to remake Hotel Dusk too!
