Nintendo has announced that Luigi’s Mansion 2 is getting a special upgrade for the Switch called Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD. It will be released next summer, and we got a closer look at it during the recent Nintendo Direct event.

If you’re not familiar with the original game, Luigi’s Mansion 2 takes place in not just one haunted house, but five! Each location has its own unique spooky theme. You’ll explore places like a classic haunted house, an old research lab, a rundown clock factory, and even a snowy mine.

Just like in the original game for the 3DS, you’ll play as Luigi and go on ghost-hunting adventures. But this time, there will also be exciting online multiplayer modes for up to four players to enjoy together. In the previous version, there was only one multiplayer mode where you could clear floors with friends. We can’t wait to see what other fun multiplayer options they have added this time.

As we get closer to next summer, we can expect more information about Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD. It’s going to be an exciting game full of ghost-busting action and multiplayer fun!
